| 1982-1988 Monte Carlo, El Camino, and Malibu gage cluster. First Design with 5 hole configuration. (Will fit in an 82-85 cars with new headlight switch knob and bracket). Some wiring required with wiring harness and instructions supplied. All new construction. Made for a custom look with more accurate gages than the factory. Replace broken cluster with new gages. Easier to read both day and night. Unlike digital gages, these gages can be read when the sun shines on them. Also it is easier to read quickly the position of a needle when your traveling over 120 mph than a digital readout. Plus you can see problems with engine easier with a moving needle than a constantly changing digital display. Why do you think airplanes and corvettes don't use digital gages? Classic Instruments gages are supplied in Black face (White also available). Classic instruments, which has been in business over 30 years, carry a 5 year warranty and have a toll free techincal hotline for consumers. These gages must be custom wired to the car. You can run separate wires or splice into the existing wiring harness. You will have to use a hall effect switch in the transmission to run the electronic speedometer (Included). Gages include: 160 mph Speedometer, odometer, fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, voltmeter, and 10000 rpm tachometer. New hall effect switch, oil pressure and tempearture senders included. Green LED turn signals with blue LED bright beam indicator and red LED brake indicator installed. The new shadow box, air vent, and gages are installed into a new instrument cluster pod and a new 86-88 style face plate is supplied.(See face plates below for options) Only used part on cluster is a right indicator lens. A new wiring harness with instructions is supplied, but you will need some common wiring tools to complete. You will need to reuse your A/C duct, light switch and knob. (New light switches are available separately.) Your choice of original interior colors are available. Must be specified in coment box upon order submission. (Made in the USA) |
