**** Shipping is for standard UPS, USPS or DHL Express Ground. Some items
ship oversize DHL Express or Overnite Transportation Motor Freight and
require extra shipping. Please call for actual shipping charges on large
orders.
Ordering Information -- Terms and Conditions
- All in stock items ship within 2-10 working days of order
depending on stock availability and order load (excluding weekends). We
typically use UPS and occasionally DHL and the US Post Office. All items go
out insured against damages for the content. This is for typical catalog
items. Larger items go Motor Freight. Shipping and handling cost represents
the cost of shipping, boxes and tubes (sometimes crating of large items),
tape, packing materials, and credit card fees.
- Used parts and special order parts (special order parts
are defined as parts dyed or painted to your interior color, any upholstery,
any headliners, refurbished parts, instrumentation, speedo work, new padded
dashes, etc...) usually ship in 3-4 weeks to ship after receipt of order,
but can take as long as 6-8 weeks. Most orders that take over 8 weeks will
need to be renegotiated.
- Body panels are shipped Motor Freight only
- Some large items will only go DHL - call for shipping
cost
- Payment methods are Certified Check, Money Order, and
Debit or Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, & American Express). No
personal checks, business checks, or COD's.
- Please send complete shipping address - No Post Office
Boxes
- North Carolina residents add 7% sales tax. To be exempt
from NC sales tax, you must live out of state or you must be a wholesale
account. To be a wholesale account a minimum $5000 initial stocking order
must be placed and a tax exempt certificate on file. A minimum of $12,000
per year sales volume must be met in order to keep wholesale account level.
- All sales are FINAL. There are no warranties on any items
in this catalog unless otherwise stated (for example...reproduction
weatherstrip made by Metro has 15 year warranty, weatherstrip made by PUI
and Repop have a life time warranty, dash covers have a warranty against
cracking only, etc...). Please inquire for specific warranty coverage for
the specific part you are interested in purchasing.
- NO GUARANTEE on used parts or dyed or painted parts. We
have no control over how these type of parts will be used and many times the
parts are not being used as they were intended. There are no performance
expectation for these type of parts.
- Damaged packages from UPS, USPS, or DHL must be reported
to us within 24 hrs. Please call 1-877-24-DIXIE (1-877-243-4943). Damaged
packages from motor freight carriers must be done at the time of delivery
and noted on the bill of lading and/or refused if damaged. Once you sign for
motor freighted items without noting damage and take possession of it, you
release your right to file a claim. The item is yours at that point. Please
call us immediately if your package is damaged 1-877-24-DIXIE
(1-877-243-4943).
- NO RETURN on SALE items, electrical parts, special order
parts (special order parts are defined as parts dyed or painted to your
interior color, any upholstery, any headliners, refurbished parts, or any
part our company decides as an item that we do not want to stock do to low
demand...), used body panels that are cut off of cars, used parts of any
kind, a part that you altered in ANY way from the way you received it,
repaired parts, labor for repaired parts, or dyed (colored) parts.
- Refunds are limited to the amount of purchase. Shipping
and handling charges are not refundable. If a package is refused just
because you do not want it, shipping both ways will be deducted from your
refund plus a restocking fee..
- Our return policy is as follows: You may return any new
unaltered part in its original packaging to us within 30 days of receipt of
order and you will not be charged a restocking fee and are eligible for a no
hassle refund. Returns after 30 days will pay a 20% restock fee (Restock fee
pays for credit card fees and handling the part again and paper work.) and
receive an in-store credit towards future purchases. No returns or refunds
after 60 days of receipt of order for any reason. You must receive a return
authorization number to return merchandise for any reason, otherwise your
package will be refused and no refund will be given. Return authorization
number must be on the outside of the box. New parts must be received with
their original packaging and in the same new condition as when they were
shipped. Used parts are not returnable. You must insure your returns. If any
item is received damaged, no refund will be issued. Any part which in our
opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to
manufacturer's instructions and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging
or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or
warranty consideration. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee, to
issue a refund or not, or refuse or make any exceptions that may be
necessary per transaction.
- A 100% deposit is required on all special orders.
Deposits are not refundable.
- If orders are returned as undeliverable address, you will
be charged additional shipping to re-ship your order.
- Parts are subject to price change without notice.
- Parts may be discontinued without notice.
- No shipments outside the U.S.A. except for small items
that can go US Post Office or UPS.
- All orders MUST be paid in U.S.A. Funds. (NO FOREIGN
CURRENCY)
- There is a $20 fee for cancelled orders once in process
to cover credit card fees and time to handle paper work and phone calls..
- There is a $30 fee for all returned checks or credit card
charge backs.
- Ignorance, no knowledge of, or simply failure to read
these terms and conditions are not our responsibility.
- A word about our company. We are a small family company
that started around 1995. We treat our customers as we expect to be treated
and how we feel that our Lord would expect us to treat you. (That does not
mean that the "customer is always right." It means being treated honestly
and fairly. We all make mistakes, but we are committed to work together with
you to resolve them when they happen occasionally no matter whose fault it
was. We really try hard to make all of our customers happy, but sometimes it
is impossible in this instant gratification society we live in.) We
specialize in getting you the right part not just any part. We want the part
to meet or exceed your expectations whenever possible. Many places just want
to make a sale and get you off the phone so they can get to the next sale.
They really can't help you unless you have a part number out of their
catalog. We have the experience of having dismantled over 150 A and G body
cars and restored around two dozen of them from various years. We hope our
expertise will help you restore your car so that you will take pride in your
ride. We do a lot of custom work and manufacturing. These types of services
take time. We are not as fast as your large corporate companies who only
pump out volume from preset catalog items or some smaller companies who only
have a limited inventory to ship from and don't do any manufacturing. Just
because you don't get a part when you expect it does not mean that we forgot
about you or did not treat you fairly. Some items just take time. Please
inquire ahead of time of how long it will be to get your part before you
order. Quality parts and patience to do the car right is what turns average
restorations into super show stopping head turning automobiles. We take
pride in our work and try to be a one stop shop for your car. The following
terms and condition of sale are printed for you so that you know in advance
what to expect from us. We are growing very rapidly and with time hope to
improve on our ship times as we find new qualified people to work for us.
